I’ve been overwhelmingly quiet on all social media and my blog over the past couple of months because it’s been an insane summer so far. So many weddings, engagement sessions, styled shoots and album designs that I can’t WAIT to share with you all! In the meantime I really wanted to share Jill & Brian’s engagement session.
Me & Jill have been following each other on Instagram for a while before she reached out to me and asked me to photograph her wedding. This was an extra big deal for me because Jill & Brian run a wedding planning, rental & floral company called Lace & BIRCH. They are crazy talented in what they do and their boho style is so apparent through their brand that I KNEW we were a great match.
For their engagement photography session, we hiked to Tiffany Falls in Hamilton with their adorable little pupper, Ralphie (who’s also insta famous, of course) and hung out by the beautiful waterfall while taking some killer pics. Jill & Brian’s playful nature is truly infectious! We then went to Dundas Peak to get some stunning shots and a pop of a champagne bottle while watching the sky turn dark and all the beautiful twinkly lights come on after the sun had set.
If you’re looking to do an adventure engagement session be sure to do the following – bring bug spray and wear closed toe shoes (something I learned the hard way after too many bug bite itches and bleeding toes after accidentally kicking a boulder lol).
