I love it when couples pick their own engagement session locations. Andy and Vicki’s choices did not disappoint! On a recent work trip to England I got the chance to spend the day with these two lovebirds and take a tour of one of the most gorgeous manor houses in West Sussex and its surrounding gardens. We had tea and sweet cake slices while discussing their wishes for their engagement photographs. I believe that starting the engagement session with an informal discussion over food is one of the reasons that the images turn out so good (also I will never say no to cake!).

We finished the day with a strawberry and champagne picnic on a secluded beach in West Wittering. Due to a recent heatwave in the UK the water was incredibly warm and we had a lovely wade in the sea once the bubbly ran dry. In my signature fashion, I managed to break my sandals in the sand 🙂 Barefoot and windswept, we headed back after an incredible few hours of photography.

I loved every second of this European beach engagement session, and the pictures really do speak for themselves. I absolutely cannot wait for these two’s wedding in Italy!
